Provisioning & Application Specialist
About The Position
This position is responsible for user access provisioning including new hires, transfers, changes, and terminations to include working with other departments to identify and eliminate SOD conflicts while strictly adhering to user access controls. To provide support to all business units through the implementation of new technological business processes, upgrades, and enhancements while streamlining department practices. This position is part of the IT User Support team and addresses functional software questions, assists in managing software upgrades, and supports the organization with new implementations. To deliver administrative support verses traditional operational functions. Jack Henry, Encore, Salesforce, OnBase, etc., are all enterprise (multiple departments) software vendors that require enterprise wide support.
Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and one year qualifying work experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in related area of study or technical certification may be substituted for experience.
- Minimum 1 year professional/or academic experience in business analysis, or system administration REQUIRED.
Nice To Haves
- Previous banking industry experience.
- Some project management experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and good customer service skills with internal customers are required.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills are required.
- Must have an above average understanding of various computer applications, including but not limited to: word processing and spreadsheets.
- A strong desire to learn new technologies and work in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Provisioning, updating and termination of employee access in multiple organizational systems (Core Banking, Active Directory, etc.).
- Ensuring strict adherence to all user access controls and SOD guidelines while documenting any exceptions in accordance to policy.
- Documenting all stages of the provisioning process for review and oversight by other departments and regulators.
- Assisting with information gathering and/or demonstrating provisioning process accountability during audits/exams.
- Facilitate single department software upgrades and implementations while acting as interface between IT and business unit.
- Serve as a second line of support for enterprise implementations and software testing as well as documentation.
- Improve issue management between Desktop and Network assignments.
- Align the needs of the business units with the capabilities delivered by the IT department, and serve as a liaison between those groups.
- Capture of client, internal and third party business and functional requirements
- Collaborate with Project Management and IT staff to determine how software updates, enhancements and new modules will effect and change operations within the department or Bank.
- Assist in troubleshooting software problems and develop solutions to permanently resolve.
- Test multiple projects, document changes to the projects, and distribute appropriate training materials to the business units.

- Base pay: $22.55 - $29.00
