Position Summary The ProviderPay Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing complex healthcare provider payment data to identify trends, ensure accuracy, and support strategic decision-making within Strategic Health Alliance II, Inc. Compensation: Target rate for this role is between $33 and $34 per hour. Location: While this role is fully remote, we do require candidates live within a drivable distance of the Columbus, OH location.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the healthcare or health insurance industry.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement methodologies (e.g., fee-for-service, value-based care) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and validate large datasets related to provider payments, claims, and reimbursement.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and payment patterns.
  • Perform root cause analysis on payment discrepancies, denials, and underpayments/overpayments.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and contracting teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings through data analysis.
  • Assist in the development and testing of new payment models and systems.
  • Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant healthcare regulations.
