About The Position
This position is in the Clinic department and involves providing support to healthcare providers. The role requires 64 hours per pay period and is classified as Non-Exempt. The hourly wage range is $25.49 - $33.42.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse program
- Must be certified by the American Association of Medical Assistants or obtain an unrestricted Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively and professionally with clients of all ages, co-workers, practitioners and administration
- Professional telephone etiquette
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work well within a team
- Good organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Good time management skills
- Computer skills and knowledge of EMR
Nice To Haves
- Previous clinic nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Room patients
- Assist provider with procedures and treatments
- Complete a variety of tasks including but not limited to injections, phone communication, patient education, vital signs, chart documentation, quality improvement initiatives, rooming prenatal visits and supply management.
