We are seeking a detail-oriented Provider Service Specialist to support regulatory compliance through the verification and ongoing monitoring of healthcare provider credentials, licensure, and prescribing authority. This role is primarily responsible for validating physician and prescriber licensure, DEA registration, controlled substance eligibility, telehealth compliance, and state-specific prescribing requirements to ensure providers are authorized to prescribe medications dispensed by the pharmacy. This is not a Pharmacy Technician position. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in provider credentialing, physician licensure verification, regulatory compliance, and prescriber eligibility validation within a healthcare, pharmacy, medical staff services, credentialing, or compliance environment. This position serves as a key compliance resource, working closely with pharmacy operations, intake, sales, and leadership to ensure all provider credentials remain accurate, current, and compliant with federal and state regulations. This is a full-time, onsite position based at Southend Pharmacy, located at 4802 North Sam Houston Parkway West, Suite 100, Houston, TX 77086. Candidates must be able to work onsite at this location during their assigned work schedule.
