Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2+ years of medical experience
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service or provider support role
  • Basic level of proficiency with MS programs including Excel and Word
  • Must have and maintain at all times a valid Texas driver’s license and personal auto insurance coverage in accordance with organization requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in home health or a clinic setting
  • Experience working with electronic medical record applications
  • Public speaking experience

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, deliver, track, and follow up on physician orders, plans of care (485s), and Face-to-Face (F2F) documentation to ensure timely return and compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations
  • Maintain and report outstanding documentation through weekly tracking spreadsheets for leadership
  • Coordinate with physician offices and home health clinical teams to ensure documentation accuracy, corrections, and electronic signature support
  • Perform delivery and pickup of physician documentation multiple times weekly
  • Maintain accurate daily route logs, vehicle inspections, and coordinate vehicle maintenance per Motor Vehicle Policy
  • Adhere to privacy practices (HIPAA), timekeeping, attendance, overtime approval, and all agency/UHG policies
  • Maintain basic proficiency with home health EMR systems
  • Participate in required training, in-services, and conduct a minimum of four physician clinic/hospital in-services annually
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
  • Requires the ability to operate a company vehicle and sit for extended periods, approximately 5–6 hours daily
  • Attends all required in-service training programs to maintain comprehensive home care knowledge base
  • Demonstrates effective time management skills by completing assignments within projected time
  • Expresses verbal and written communication in a clear, positive, and cooperative manner
  • Demonstrates personal responsibility with regard to attendance and punctuality
  • Maintains privacy and confidentiality with regard to all patient, staff and Agency information
  • Promotes the Agency image by adhering to the Dress Code and personal hygiene standards
  • Demonstrates flexibility, enthusiasm, and willingness to cooperate while working with others or in place of others as necessary
