As a Provider Scheduler, you will be responsible for managing provider schedules, coordinating hospital call assignments, and ensuring that all provider and non-provider templates are built accurately. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple scheduling priorities efficiently.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
2+ years of experience in medical office scheduling or a related field.
Strong proficiency with databases and scheduling systems.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Nice To Haves

Experience with EPIC and/or Qgenda.
Familiarity with hospital call scheduling and provider coordination.

Responsibilities

Build, monitor, and adjust daily and weekly provider schedules.
Act as the primary point of contact for provider schedule coordination.
Assign and manage the annual hospital call schedule, ensuring timely updates and distribution.
Process provider time-off requests and adjust schedules accordingly.
Create provider and non-provider daily patient schedule templates.
Assign and track all scheduling-related tasks, including hospital, office, and administrative duties.
Collaborate with managers to schedule physician meetings and coordinate onboarding for new providers.
Maintain accurate scheduling records in EPIC and Qgenda.
