About The Position

The Provider Relations Specialist is responsible for managing and strengthening relationships with REE Medical's active provider network after onboarding. This role serves as the primary operational liaison for providers, ensuring a high-quality experience through proactive communication, issue resolution, operational support, and cross-functional collaboration. The Provider Relations Specialist partners with internal departments to resolve provider needs, improve provider satisfaction, identify operational improvement opportunities, and promote long-term provider engagement and retention. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a responsive, provider-focused experience while supporting the organization's operational goals.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in provider relations, healthcare operations, customer success, account management, practice support, or a related healthcare environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms.
  • Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US as a full-time employee.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for active providers following onboarding.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with providers and clinic staff.
  • Conduct regular outreach and relationship check-ins to promote provider engagement and satisfaction.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of each provider's operational needs and identify opportunities to improve their experience.
  • Respond promptly to provider questions, concerns, and operational requests.
  • Own provider issues from initial intake through resolution, ensuring timely communication and follow-up.
  • Coordinate with Scheduling, Credentialing, Compliance, Quality, IT, Finance, Legal, and Operations to resolve provider requests.
  • Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining provider communication throughout the resolution process.
  • Support providers with portal access, profile maintenance, account updates, and operational guidance.
  • Communicate workflow changes, policy updates, operational announcements, and system enhancements.
  • Assist providers in understanding new processes, technology updates, and operational expectations.
  • Maintain accurate provider documentation within Salesforce and other operational systems.
  • Monitor provider feedback, satisfaction trends, and recurring operational challenges.
  • Identify opportunities to improve provider workflows, communication, and overall experience.
  • Submit enhancement requests and partner with internal stakeholders to improve provider tools and systems.
  • Assist in developing provider-facing resources including communication templates, reference guides, FAQs, and educational materials.
  • Track provider interactions, escalations, and resolutions.
  • Prepare reports on provider satisfaction, operational trends, escalations, and retention metrics.
  • Ensure documentation is timely, accurate, and complete.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all company privacy, security, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
