About The Position

Maple is Canada's leading on-demand healthcare platform, connecting patients with Canadian-licensed doctors, nurse practitioners, and specialists. The Provider Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of tasks that keep the Provider Network Operations team running smoothly. This includes managing the support inbox, facilitating provider onboarding, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), configuring the platform, and conducting regulatory scans. This role is primarily internal-focused, supporting the Provider Success, Provider Network Performance, and Provider Process Operations pillars, and fostering collaboration among team members working on shared objectives.

Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree in business, commerce, health administration, communications, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience (including internships) in a coordinator, administrator, or operations support role.
  • A high degree of organization with the ability to meticulously manage a high volume of manual admin tasks and keep multiple moving parts on track.
  • A proactive, "over-communicative" internal communication style, flagging issues early and keeping partners informed.
  • Strong written communication skills for clear, warm, and professional responses to inquiries.
  • Strong prioritization skills to juggle inbox triage, onboarding queues, KPI pulls, and ad-hoc requests, knowing when to escalate versus resolve.
  • A collaborative, service-oriented mindset with a desire to be a link between teams and workstreams.

Responsibilities

  • Triage the provider support inbox and Slack channel, routing inquiries to the appropriate owner and responding directly when necessary.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding process for new providers.
  • Support the provider quality and feedback loop by tracking themes by provider and delivering targeted education using pre-approved templates.
  • Provide administrative support for mass provider communications, including coordinating content drafting and distribution through HubSpot.
  • Support weekly KPI monitoring across different specialties and jurisdictions, and present these KPIs to the provider team.
  • Assist with the setup of new specialties on the platform, troubleshoot configuration issues, and manage the pool of providers for each specialty.
  • Conduct the monthly regulatory scan to track changes in healthcare laws and regulations across operating provinces and territories to ensure compliance.
