About The Position

Circit is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company focused on making business verifiable in real-time. We are building a global asset verification platform that enables auditors to deliver higher quality financial audits and spend more time helping businesses create greater value. Our Verified Transactions (VT) product connects audit firms and their corporate clients directly to banking APIs, allowing for real-time, secure confirmation of financial data from major banks. We are regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland as an AISP under PSD2, the UK Financial Conduct Authority, and accredited by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission for open banking. Our clients include Big Four accountancy firms and global banks like JP Morgan, HSBC, Goldman Sachs, and Santander. We are seeking a Provider Operations Analyst to manage the day-to-day health and management of Circit's banking API provider network, which currently consists of over 7,000 providers and is continuously growing. This role is crucial for ensuring our bank connections remain healthy, new providers are activated smoothly, and issues are identified before they affect clients. This is not a typical support role; you will act as Circit's liaison with banking partners, manage tri-directional relationships between clients, banks, and our development team, and proactively monitor API connectivity across our extensive provider network. The role involves managing thousands of provider endpoints and millions of transactions, requiring a data-driven approach and comfort with AI tools to stay ahead of the evolving provider landscape. You will work closely with the product support function and the product team, dedicating approximately 20-30% of your time to operational context for roadmap decisions. Reporting to the Product Director and working with the Head of Bank API Platform, this role is ideal for an early-career professional interested in fintech, comfortable with data, and eager to develop expertise in banking API connectivity and open banking infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to think in terms of dashboards, metrics, and trends.
  • Ability to read and interpret monitoring data, spot anomalies across large datasets, and investigate root causes.
  • Basic SQL or data querying ability is a strong plus.
  • AI fluency as a core working skill, actively using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar) for data analysis, drafting communications, triaging issues, and automating repetitive workflows.
  • Understanding of AI capabilities and limitations, applying judgment to AI outputs.
  • API literacy, including an understanding of REST APIs, OAuth, webhooks, and authentication flows.
  • Strong written communication skills for clear and professional communications to bank technical contacts, internal teams, and client-facing stakeholders.
  • Proactive problem-solving orientation, noticing and addressing issues before they escalate.
  • Organizational ability to manage multiple provider relationships and operational workflows simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in open banking, bank connectivity, or financial services operations.
  • Familiarity with SWIFT messaging, bank connectivity protocols, or API aggregation platforms.
  • Experience with monitoring or observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, Azure Monitor, or similar).
  • Experience with ticketing systems (Jira, Intercom, Zendesk, DevOps).
  • Understanding of data quality concepts and how to interpret DQ metrics across large datasets.
  • Exposure to banking or API connectivity operations from either the bank side or the fintech side.
  • Interest in product management as a career direction.

  • Track bank data quality metrics, API response times, and connectivity status.
  • Identify and investigate anomalies, such as increased time-to-authorize for high-volume providers.
  • Maintain and update the provider status channel for real-time visibility for support, customer success, and product teams.
  • Manage the SWIFT exception queue, resolving repair cases and coordinating with banks and/or clients to clear blockers.
  • Handle provider verification workflows across SWIFT, Plaid, Blink, and other connectivity channels.
  • Ensure provider data in Circit's systems is accurate and current.
  • Support the activation process for new bank connections by coordinating between Circit's engineering team and bank technical contacts.
  • Maintain the provider database with accurate coverage, authentication types, product support details, and connection status.
  • Provide post-go-live support for clients on newly activated bank connections.
  • Create and maintain client authorization guides.
  • Act as the operational bridge for client-specific provider issues, communicating with banks on behalf of clients to resolve blockers.
  • Spend 20-30% of your time embedded with the product team, providing operational context to inform roadmap priorities.
  • Surface patterns from provider monitoring that indicate needed product improvements.
  • Contribute to data quality definitions and admin panel documentation for broader team enablement.
  • Build and maintain operational playbooks for provider monitoring, exception handling, and activation processes.
  • Identify recurring issues and propose automation or process improvements.
  • Contribute to the provider management vision, aiming to make provider information self-serviceable for customer success and support teams.

Benefits

  • Remote working and flexible working hours.
  • Great opportunity for career progression with hands-on experience.
