Provider (MD/DO) - PRN - Central Florida Region
About The Position
My Health Onsite (MHO) is a leading provider in Florida with 25 employer-sponsored healthcare centers serving schools, city and county governments, sheriff's offices, and fire departments. Our goal is to offer proactive, personalized, and engaging healthcare for employees, retirees, and their families at no cost to them, encompassing wellness programs and preventive care. As a Family Practice Provider, you will meet, assess, and diagnose patients in the health center. You will also prescribe appropriate medication, health regimens, and lifestyle adjustments to aid in recovery, prevent future health issues, and promote a healthier lifestyle. MHO maintains manageable caseloads of 12-17 patients per day with no double bookings, allowing for focused, individual patient care.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited medical school
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Current and unrestricted Florida medical license
- Dispensing license (Florida) or willing to obtain one
- DEA license
- BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
Nice To Haves
- Experience in primary or urgent care setting
- Perform GYN care and well women exams
Responsibilities
- Provide preventive, acute, and chronic care for patients
- Provide health services such as initial worker’s comp evaluation, occupational and pre-employment physicals and screenings
- Conduct histories and physical examinations, working with patients to develop treatment plans
- Prescribe and dispense medications, educate, and advise on medical issues as needed
- Promote wellness educational programs
- Maintain patient confidence and ensure confidentiality of patient care information
