About The Position

We are seeking detail-oriented Provider Enrollment Specialists to support Medicaid provider enrollment and file maintenance operations. This role will interact professionally with healthcare providers and ancillary staff to respond to inquiries, resolve application issues, and ensure provider enrollment records are processed accurately and timely.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience with healthcare provider enrollment and credentialing.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, data entry, administrative processing, healthcare operations, or a related field.
  • Mid to high-level computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, think critically, and analyze provider enrollment information.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to accept direction while completing assigned tasks.
  • Willingness to learn multiple enrollment types and maintain ongoing competency in assigned responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience processing healthcare provider enrollment, Medicaid enrollment, credentialing, provider maintenance, or healthcare administrative files.
  • Accuracy, organization, and a quality-focused approach.
  • Comfort working with providers to resolve documentation issues in a production-based environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process assigned provider enrollment applications and maintenance requests through completion using documented work instructions while meeting daily productivity targets.
  • Review applications for incomplete, inaccurate, or missing information and notify providers of deficiencies.
  • Revise existing deficiencies and submit corrections based on quality assurance audits as needed.
  • Respond to provider inquiries regarding application status, enrollment updates, and file maintenance requests.
  • Research and contact providers by phone when needed to resolve enrollment application deficiencies.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of provider information and job files in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
  • Follow quality assurance standards to support accurate daily processing of applications and file maintenance transactions.
  • Make recommendations to leadership to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Adapt to changing priorities, strategies, and production requirements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work overtime as needed based on daily production inventory needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
