About The Position

The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for completing the full lifecycle of provider credentialing and primary source verification to ensure all practitioners meet organizational, regulatory, and accreditation requirements. This role supports provider onboarding, maintains accurate provider data, and ensures credentialing files meet standards required by medical staff bylaws, accreditation bodies, delegated credentialing agreements and state/federal regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma

Nice To Haves

• Associate or bachelor’s degree
• 1–3 years of credentialing or medical staff services experience
• CPCS or CPMSM certification

Responsibilities

• Completing the full lifecycle of provider credentialing and primary source verification
• Ensuring all practitioners meet organizational, regulatory, and accreditation requirements
• Supporting provider onboarding
• Maintaining accurate provider data
• Ensuring credentialing files meet standards required by medical staff bylaws, accreditation bodies, delegated credentialing agreements and state/federal regulations
