Requirements

2-3 years of healthcare administrative experience, including insurance verification, benefits verification, provider enrollment, patient registration, or related healthcare support experience
Working knowledge of medical terminology
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to accuracy
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
Candidates must successfully complete a basic Excel assessment with a score of 70% or higher.

Responsibilities

Complete credentialing and recredentialing activities in accordance with established policies and procedures
Review, verify, and maintain provider licenses, certifications, and supporting documentation
Research and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy and compliance
Send, track, and follow up on provider forms and required documentation
Monitor licensing boards and regulatory reporting sites for updates
Maintain accurate provider files and records
Educate providers regarding credentialing requirements and documentation needs
Prepare reports and templates using Microsoft Word and Excel
Enter and update provider information across multiple systems
Respond to provider inquiries while delivering excellent customer service
