About The Position

The Provider Compensation Coordinator is responsible for preparing monthly and quarterly compensation invoices for independent contractors, ensuring payments are calculated and processed in accordance with contractual terms. This role assists with clinical providers, accounting, and HR to research and resolve payment issues and ensure accurate and timely payments. The position involves checking payroll invoice information for accuracy, producing reports for management, performing analysis of payroll information, investigating pay variances, and maintaining internal controls and documentation for audit readiness. Additionally, the role prepares performance metrics, conducts payment trend analyses, and maintains the security of sensitive information in a confidential manner, adhering to health system and regulatory requirements. Other payroll-related duties and project assistance are also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree In a related field or 3 years experience in lieu of minimum education
  • 1 year experience in hospital or medical group payroll background or experience as a payroll coordinator or similar role.
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge, comfortable with processing timesheets, and payroll adjustments.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and outstanding analytical and numerical skills.
  • Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain established health system and regulatory requirements and records.
  • Perform other payroll related duties and assists with other projects as assigned.

Benefits

  • The hourly rate range for this position is $33.00 - $56.19.
