Prototyping Engineer
About The Position
We are a rapidly growing technology startup focused on delivering next-generation drones for security and safety applications. Our company vertically integrates hardware and software to create leading edge capabilities in the UAV space, with a focus on saving lives. We are seeking a Prototyping Engineer to help prototype hardware that powers intelligent robotic UAS systems operating in real-world environments. In this role, you will work at the intersection of software, hardware, and autonomy—building robust, high-performance systems that integrate perception, planning, control, and communication.
Requirements
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with hand tools
- Experience with wire harnesses and connectors
- Experience with soldering and basic electronics assembly
Nice To Haves
- Experience with 3D printers
- Experience with CNC tools
- Experience with basic troubleshooting tools (DMM, power supply)
Responsibilities
- Build assemblies and full vehicles for prototypes
- Rework vehicles and subassemblies
