This position involves setting up and operating manual milling machines, lathes, grinders, and other machine tools. The Machinist II will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to create production tooling, completing set-ups and operating equipment with minimal supervision. Key responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions, selecting appropriate tools and settings, performing in-process inspections, adjusting machine settings, troubleshooting machining issues, maintaining production records, performing routine machine maintenance, and collaborating with various teams to improve processes. The role also requires strict adherence to safety standards, company policies, and ISO/AS quality requirements.
