About The Position

Join Schaeffler’s humanoid robotics team to develop advanced robot prototypes, focusing on actuators for humanoid robots. The role combines hands-on assembly expertise with technical skills and involves producing precision components, supporting rapid prototyping and design validation, and collaborating with engineering teams to refine actuator components. The technician maintains quality and accuracy throughout manufacturing, troubleshoots and optimizes assembly and tooling processes, and contributes to continuous improvement in prototype design and production efficiency.

Requirements

Completed vocational training or at least 2 years of practical experience with machining (CNC/lathe) operation and assembly tooling.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation.
Hands-on knowledge of 3D-printing technologies and materials.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work collaboratively in dynamic project environments.
Legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship or support is not offered.

Responsibilities

Develop prototypes focused on actuators for humanoid robots.
