Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Duluth is currently seeking applicants for a Prototype Operator. Job Location: This position will be on-site at the Duluth, MN facility, near Airpark blvd and Haines Road.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of related experience in manufacturing/production
• Resume is required in order to be considered for this position.
• This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.”
• This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” according to U.S. federal law.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes minimal documentation such as sketches, CAD drawings, diagrams and verbal descriptions to build prototype units.
• Performs testing and data collection on prototypes and pre-production units.
• Assists with the design of tooling and documentation to be used in the manufacturing process.
• Provides technical assistance to manufacturing and serves as a liaison as parts go from NPI to production.
• Assembles and tests products for production jobs.
