Prototype Engineer

Premier Staffing SolutionIrvine, CA

About The Position

The Prototype Data Analyst is a critical cross-functional role responsible for managing and validating Master Parts Lists (MPLs) for all builds. This role ensures the accuracy of part data through collaboration with Prototype Engineering and regular alignment checks. Crucially, the analyst will also manage logistics data analysis, monitor internal pull systems (WMS/ERP) to maintain inventory accuracy and seamless material flow, and correlate digital part data with the physical movement of materials in the warehouse. The position involves managing change management, supporting part shortage and deviation meetings, and reporting on part status during build tracking. A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Data Management is required, along with a strong understanding of product data management (PDM) and change management processes. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to complex data challenges, and experience with ERP/MRP and PLM systems. A background in the automotive or EV prototype environment is a bonus.
