About The Position

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Prototype Assembler 1 for seasonal work. This role involves performing mechanical assembly using documented work instructions, adhering to safety procedures, and maintaining a clean work environment. Responsibilities include operating hand and pneumatic tools, supporting molding operations, packing products, performing basic computer tasks, and assisting with visual and dimensional quality checks. The position also supports preventative maintenance, helps keep work areas organized, and may involve working across departments. Employees must comply with all Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental regulations and may need to adjust schedules as required. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and is based onsite in Ladysmith, WI. This is a seasonal position expected to last through the end of August 2026, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or related work experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Must not require sponsorship for employment visas, now or in the future.
