About The Position

The Raw Material Person is responsible for learning all job responsibilities within the Protein Conversion Area. Responsibilities include monitoring raw material bins, cleaning floors, catch basins, and walls daily, and performing weekly foam cleaning. This role also involves unloading reefer and open-top trailers, verifying and washing out each trailer, and a willingness to learn how to operate PITs.

Requirements

• Able to obtain yard jockey license.
• Must be able to operate a forklift and bobcat.
• Must have excellent work, safety and attendance record.
• Must be a team player and have a positive attitude.
• Applicant/employee must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work in a non-clean environment with chicken parts that cannot be used for consumption.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn all job responsibilities within the Protein Conversion Area.
• Keep a close eye on the raw material bins.
• Clean floors, catch basin, and walls of raw material daily.
• Perform foam cleaning weekly.
• Unload reefer trailers and open top trailers.
• Verify and wash out each trailer.
• Willing to learn how to operate PITs.
• Promote safe working habits.
• Other duties as assigned.
