What you will be doing: You will play a critical role in safeguarding Alaska’s vulnerable adults, and you will be responsible for receiving and investigating reports of abuse, neglect, and exploitation. You will also evaluate an adult’s decision-making capacity and provide either voluntary supportive services or involuntary protective services, as appropriate. In this role, your other responsibilities include conducting advanced-level casework, developing service plans, preparing legal documentation, participating in court hearings or mediation, and providing testimony when required. This position serves a diverse population of adults who may be experiencing complex behavioral, medical, mental health, and socioeconomic challenges across the lifespan. This Position Requires Frequent Travel within the State of Alaska. Requirements

A valid and current Alaskan Driver's License is required at the time of appointment.
Must provide a copy of academic transcripts.
Must provide copies of two (2) most recent performance evaluations, or two supervisory letters of reference.
Must provide three (3) professional references, one of which must be a current or former supervisor.
