Protective Services Caseworker
About The Position
Liberty Healthcare and the Pennsylvania Adult Protective Services Program are hiring a full-time Protective Services Caseworker. The role contributes to the program’s mission to detect, prevent, reduce, and eliminate abuse, neglect, exploitation, and abandonment of adults living with disabilities. This is a field-based position involving travel throughout Allegheny County and surrounding counties, with a high degree of autonomy, some schedule flexibility, and occasional evening work. New hires receive formal adult protective services training, and the position offers experience that can build a resume and potential advancement into leadership roles for dedicated top performers.
Responsibilities
- Travel throughout Allegheny County and surrounding counties.
- Conduct investigations in residences.
- Interview individuals and gather information.
- Identify, mitigate, and eliminate areas of risk to the individual.
- Document findings and write reports.
- Develop service plans, coordinate services, and manage cases to closure.
Benefits
- $48,000 per year, paid at $23.08 per hour.
