Protective Services Case Worker (human services - field based)
About The Position
Liberty Healthcare and the Pennsylvania Adult Protective Services Program are seeking early career and experienced human services professionals for a full-time Protective Services Case Worker position. The program's mission is to detect, prevent, reduce, and eliminate abuse, neglect, exploitation, and abandonment of adults living with disabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of others by traveling throughout the region to conduct investigations in residences. You will interview individuals to substantiate reports of need, document findings, develop service plans, and manage cases through to closure. This is a vital role that offers a high degree of job satisfaction through serving and protecting vulnerable adults.
Responsibilities
- Focus on ensuring the safety and wellbeing of others
- Travel throughout the region and conduct investigations in residences
- Interview individuals to determine if reports of need are substantiated
- Document findings
- Develop service plans
- Manage cases through to closure
Benefits
- Starting pay is approximately $48,000 (paid $23.08 per hour)
