About The Position

Manages the daily operation of RRMC, Doctors', RBHC, RCC-Hampton. Protection to ensure a safe and secure healthcare environment and to maintain order throughout all assigned facilities and grounds. Ensures the essential functions of a safe environment and services of the department are provided to both internal and external customers. Provides leadership and mentorship/support to the team members for security officers in a healthcare setting. Responsible for organizing, planning, directing, staff scheduling and the evaluation of protection staff. Disseminates and communicates information to department team members and staff. Manages assignments, responsibilities, assets and resources to ensure an image of professionalism, accepted ethical behavior and optimum customer service is constantly maintained within the department. Properly reports and documents discrepancies and work assignments accurately and timely.

Requirements

• 1-3 years Experience in security or related field, preferably at supervisory level; like military background will substitute (Required)

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
