Hanger, Inc. is the world's premier provider of orthotic and prosthetic (O&P) services and products, offering the most advanced O&P solutions, clinically differentiated programs and unsurpassed customer service. This role is based in a quaint clinic in Jackson, Tennessee, with over 30 years of operation. The clinician will work alongside a Certified Orthotist (CO), Certified Prosthetic Assistant, and Orthotic Fitter. The patient population spans all ages, from geriatrics to pediatrics. The role involves servicing hospitals within a 70-mile radius, requiring some travel and on-call rotations. The clinic has onsite fabrication capabilities with two technicians. The position offers the opportunity to leverage professional clinical expertise, established clinical practice guidelines, innovative technologies, specialized training, continuing education, and back-office support. The core focus is on patient care, providing or supervising comprehensive prosthetic and orthotic care, assessing patients, formulating and implementing treatment plans, following up with patients, and participating in practice management. For those not yet certified, care will be provided under the direction of a certified clinician. The role involves combining clinical and technical skills to evaluate patients, custom design, fabricate, and fit prostheses and/or orthoses, collaborating with the rehabilitation team and utilizing the latest technology.
