Under supervision of the Team Lead, produces check sockets and laminated definitive prosthetic sockets as indicated by production orders. Requirements

Graduate of high school or GED
Self-motivated and dependable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well as a team member and leader.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks in an efficient manner.
The technician must be good at operating machinery such as power tools and need a high level of hand-eye coordination.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

Some experience in a manufacturing environment would be helpful.

Responsibilities

Fabricates prosthetic devices following established work instructions and quality standards
Mixes pigments according to formula to duplicate what is requested from the customer.
Tests prostheses for freedom of movement, sealed valves, alignment of parts, and biomechanical stability, using plumb line and alignment fixtures.
Maintains and requests adequate supplies of fabrication materials and components.
Maintains and cleans the production area
Other duties as assigned.
