About The Position
Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is dedicated to transforming the health care experience and providing access to world-class health care in America’s heartland. The Bismarck location has a full fabrication orthotic and prosthetic lab and can fabricate most devices in-house. Sanford supports further training and certification. This role provides technical support to prosthetic staff and fabricates, repairs, and maintains orthoses. This includes assessment of prosthetic technical requirements, formulation and implementation of fabrication, as well as follow-up and practice management.
Requirements
- Proficient with current fabricating techniques
- Familiar with material properties
- Skilled in the use of appropriate equipment
- Supports and conforms to professional responsibilities that promote and assure the overall welfare of the client
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must possess a valid class D driver's license
- Must maintain a good driving record
Nice To Haves
- Should attend training to gain knowledge and skills used in the Prosthetic Technician role
- Experience preferred
