About The Position

The Prospect Research Analyst I assists in identifying and providing research information on individual, corporate, and foundation major gift prospects. This research supports University employees who conduct fundraising activities and is vital to the fundraising efforts of the President, Vice President for Advancement, Associate Vice President for Development, and Deans and Development Officers in the University’s colleges, schools, and other divisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong editing skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Strong computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
• Self-motivated and well organized.
• Knowledge of resources available to prospect researchers and the ability to apply them in an organized and purposeful manner.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in prospect research, development, library research, or an information-related field in a higher education environment.
