About The Position

As a Door Guard, your primary function is to monitor the activity transpiring at the door you are assigned to. Verify that your door is in working order periodically throughout your shift. If your door ever becomes inoperable, contact maintenance and your supervisor immediately. You are required to verbally prevent any individuals from entering to the sterile area without being cleared at a security checkpoint. In case someone makes it inside, communicate Effectively with DFW DPS, Prospect Leadership, as well as the traveling public.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
  • Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the activity transpiring at the assigned door.
  • Verify that the assigned door is in working order periodically throughout the shift.
  • Contact maintenance and supervisor immediately if the door becomes inoperable.
  • Verbally prevent any individuals from entering the sterile area without being cleared at a security checkpoint.
  • Communicate effectively with DFW DPS, Prospect Leadership, and the traveling public if someone enters the sterile area without clearance.
