About The Position

We are seeking a Propulsion Systems Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on battery systems, electric vehicle propulsion, and energy storage systems, utilizing simulation and modeling tools to drive innovation and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in battery systems, electric vehicle propulsion, energy storage systems, or related simulation work.
  • Experience using simulation and modeling tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex engineering data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional engineering environment.
  • Battery pack performance, durability, discharge, and charging system simulation.
  • Experience with engineering simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink and Python.
  • Ability to analyze simulation results, identify actionable recommendations, and communicate findings effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with battery pack modeling and simulation.
  • Familiarity with electric vehicle propulsion systems and battery development processes.
  • Understanding of battery cell, module, and pack-level electrical and thermal behavior.
  • Experience developing and executing charging, discharge, or durability simulation workflows.
  • Experience coordinating simulation activities across multiple programs or projects.
  • Ability to create clear documentation and support knowledge transfer initiatives.
