Propulsion Systems Engineer
About The Position
Deliver highly effective and timely Propulsion systems engineering support to Bombardier Defense programs from the proposal phases to the development, certification and inserves. Apply engineering knowledge in the areas of Powerplant, APU, FIDEEX, Fuel and FTIS towards the planning and development of missionized solutions. During the proposal phase, responsibilities will include developing concept and trade studies, requirements capture, scope of work definition and supplier engagement based on Customer requests. Produce technical proposal activities, supplier statements of work, including preparation of written material and presentations. During the development and certification phases, responsibilities will include integration of the affected system, engineering documentation updates, supplier management and governance support. Review supplier documentation and verification plans. Interface with internal and external stakeholders to support technical engineering activities. Participate in the successful implementation of systems installations, modifications and operation. Develop good working relationships with various departments within BA and with suppliers.
