About The Position

This role requires a Senior Engineer with expertise in pressure and fluid systems for propulsion. Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens or permanent residents are eligible. Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening, including marijuana use testing. The position also requires a willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet critical project milestones.

Requirements

• 7 or more years of relevant experience with demonstrated depth in pressure control and fluid systems design.
• Significant hands-on experience with propellant feed system design, development, qualification and integration, including COPVS, valves, regulators, filters, manifolds and instrumentation.
• Expertise in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics and heat transfer with demonstrated application to propulsion systems.
• Experience with oxygen compatibility requirements and assessments.
• Experience coordinating with external vendors on technical requirements, design verification, cost and schedule performance.
• 3D modeling software experience: SolidWorks preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Aerospace, Mechanical or related Engineering discipline required.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident status.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, qualification, and integration of propellant feed systems, including COPVS, valves, regulators, filters, manifolds, and instrumentation.
• Apply expertise in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer to propulsion systems.
• Conduct oxygen compatibility requirements and assessments.
• Coordinate with external vendors on technical requirements, design verification, cost, and schedule performance.
• Utilize 3D modeling software, preferably SolidWorks.
