In this role, you will have the opportunity to: manage rocket engine hardware, be empowered to develop technical solutions, and potentially be the technical lead of a component throughout different phases of the product life-cycle (qualification, production, service support, aging, etc.).

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or in a related discipline
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and highly integrated team environment
  • Ability and desire to assume ownership of tasks and drive to closure quickly and efficiently
  • Understanding of mechanical and/or propulsion engineering principals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Must be a US Citizen for consideration due to security clearance requirement

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of propulsion subsystems and component functions
  • Experience with bi-propellant engines or monopropellant thrusters
  • Experience combustion or fluid flow dynamics
  • Experience with high temperature materials
  • Experience with valves or pumps
  • Experience with green propellants
  • Experience with additive manufacturing
  • Experience with cold gas, monopropellant, and/or bipropellant propulsion systems

Responsibilities
