Conducting tests and simulations to validate the performance of propulsion systems and components will be a key part of your responsibilities, along with documenting design processes, test results, and modifications for future reference. You will provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for propulsion systems and components and stay updated with the latest advancements in propulsion engineering, applying new knowledge to ongoing projects. Additionally, you will participate in team meetings, contributing to project planning and progress discussions, and follow instructions from senior engineers while working effectively in a team environment. Clear communication of technical concepts and information, both verbally and in writing, will be essential to ensure collaboration and project success.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).
Typically entry-level 0 - 2 years of experience.
Basic understanding of Propulsion Engineering.
Basic application and use of technical principles, standards, theories, and concepts.
Ability to help develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope and complexity.
Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from senior engineers.
Clear verbal and written communication of technical concepts and information.

Nice To Haves

Internship or co-op experience in propulsion engineering or a related field.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
Basic proficiency in using engineering design software and tools such as CAD, FEA, or CFD.
Basic understanding of propulsion system components and their functions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
