Propulsion Architect

JetZeroLong Beach, CA

About The Position

JetZero is developing a blended-wing body (BWB) aircraft that uses up to 50% less fuel and will be built to accommodate zero-emission hydrogen propulsion. The Propulsion Architect will combine engineering management, supplier engagement, strategy, business development, and a strong technical background in propulsion airframe integration. You’ll be interfacing with internal organizations from other engineering groups, supply chain, sales & marketing, and external groups such as the Engine, APU, and Nacelle OEMs. You’ll work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary, agile environment using modern tools and practices, with strong opportunities for professional development. In addition, contribute to the design and development of the Blended Wing Body (BWB) aircraft. The candidate will lead the Powerplant teams to supplier selection.
