You’ll learn the ins and outs of your department, work as a valued member of project teams, and collaborate with experts in various departments. You’ll even get a chance to present some of your own work to the entire firm. Reingold offers you opportunities to tailor the internship experience to your interests and strengths — all while working on causes that really matter. Internships are full-time and in person (40 hours) during the standard workweek and pay an hourly rate of $20. The internship class begins on Thursday, June 4, and runs through Friday, November 20, 2026. Core hours during the internship are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern time. This internship requires five in-office days (Monday – Friday) at our office in Alexandria, Virginia. Responsibilities

  • Support team of Proposal Specialists by coordinating the full life cycle of proposal development: from a go/no-go decision through outlining, gathering and writing content, and submission.
  • Manage our internal proposal tracker with key information such as proposal values, wins/losses, and evaluator feedback.
  • Support the development of libraries of the latest versions of approved proposal language, past performance summaries, and staff resumes.
  • Scour solicitations for requirements (deadlines, page limits, formats, attachments, notarizations, delivery specs).
  • Support development of discrete proposal sections, including write ups of past performance and experience, staff resumes, and preparation of compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate and capture notes from business development meetings.
  • Track team schedules to ensure adequate coverage of all proposal elements.
