About The Position

World Learning seeks a Proposal Writer to develop technical narratives for Education Cannot Wait Lebanon, which focuses on Education in Emergencies. Deliverables include draft 1 and draft 2 for each assignment. The consultant will serve as lead writer for upcoming opportunities, transforming technical strategy and design into a compelling narrative. This role involves producing technical narrative drafts compliant with solicitations, contributing to technical annex development, participating in design sessions and review meetings, and ensuring seamless integration of consolidated inputs and revisions into technical drafts. Other tasks may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, international development, education, or a related field
  • At least seven years of relevant professional experience
  • A minimum of five years in program design or management of multilateral donor-funded projects
  • Expertise in working on education projects in emergency contexts
  • Strong technical writing, editing, and synthesis skills
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, concise, and compelling work products

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Lebanon experience preferred
  • Experience in competitive proposal writing preferred
