About The Position
NaphCare has an excellent opportunity for a Proposal Writer to join the Proposal Development team at our Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, AL. The Proposal Writer works with the Proposal Development team to write strategic, compelling and customer-focused RFP responses to secure government contracts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required in Journalism, Marketing, Operations, English or a communications-related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proposal or grant writing highly desirable, preferably in the healthcare field
- Experience in responding to RFPs preferred
- Excellent research writing, and proofing skills, with close attention to detail
- Graphic design and/or document formatting skills strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe applications
Responsibilities
- Achieve and maintain a strong understanding of NaphCare’s products and services
- Read, review, write, coordinate overall preparation of proposals and ensure proposal complies with all Request for Proposal(RFP) requirements
- Project manage RFP response process from start to finish
- Set and meet deadlines for content development
- Coordinate with Proposal Development team and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
- Maintain up-to-date company information in proposal library
