Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years proposal experience in commercial construction.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe InDesign.
  • Strong organizational, technical writing, and content enhancement skills.

Nice To Haves

  • After completing training, there is an option to work remotely 1-2 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee proposal responses from kickoff to delivery, ensuring compliance and alignment.
  • Interpret RFQs/RFPs and develop compliance checklists and timelines.
  • Create and refine narrative content, including resumes and project summaries.
  • Lead content planning and proposal reviews with internal teams.
  • Maintain and update proposal assets, including templates and resumes.
  • Audit content to reflect current firm experience and market trends.
  • Collaborate with experts to gather and verify technical information.
  • Establish standards for naming, folder structure, and version control.
  • Produce branded proposals and presentations using InDesign and PowerPoint.
  • Create or oversee graphics, diagrams, and visual elements.
  • Ensure deliverables meet brand and formatting standards.
  • Provide visual quality review and feedback to junior team members.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, project teams, and partners to align messaging.
  • Facilitate kickoff, milestone, and review meetings for quality and efficiency.
  • Support teaming discussions and partner outreach as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally for technical accuracy and strategy.
  • Manage multiple pursuits and deliverables independently under tight deadlines.
  • Prioritize tasks, anticipate challenges, and adjust timelines proactively.
  • Initiate follow-ups to keep the team on track.
  • Own the proposal schedule and drive team accountability.
  • Mentor junior team members and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Contribute thoughtful input in meetings and strategy sessions.
  • Drive improvements in workflows, tools, and team effectiveness.
