Proposal Specialist - East Coast

About The Position

Axonius is seeking a Proposal Specialist to lead the execution of RFPs, RFIs, and Security Questionnaires within our high-growth cybersecurity ecosystem. You will serve as the primary architect of our response strategy, managing the full project lifecycle from intake to completion while maintaining our content library in Responsive. This role is a critical bridge between Sales, Product, and Security, ensuring our technical value propositions are translated into winning, customer-centric proposals.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of direct experience managing RFPs, DDQs, and Security Assessments within Cloud or SaaS software organizations.
  • Proven proficiency in Proposal Management software (e.g., Responsive/RFPIO) and standard productivity suites (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe).
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Go-to-Market (GTM) teams with a portfolio of completed proposal writing projects.
  • Strong knowledge of IT and Cybersecurity principles, including Cloud architecture and software development terminology.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced proficiency in the Responsive (formerly RFPIO) platform.
  • Previous professional experience specifically within the Cybersecurity industry.
  • Formal background or certification in Technical Writing.
  • Experience managing high-volume proposal pipelines in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling content libraries from scratch.
  • Experience navigating complex Security and Due Diligence requirements for Enterprise-level clients.

Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end execution of RFPs, RFIs, and Security Questionnaires, ensuring all stakeholder inputs are integrated and submitted by strict deadlines.
  • Structure and maintain a robust content library within Responsive, including metadata tagging and coordinating regular review cadences with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings with Sales, Legal, and Product teams to develop proposal strategies and resolve technical roadblocks.
  • Translate complex technical documentation into customer-friendly language while proofreading and editing all stakeholder inputs for grammatical precision.
