About The Position

To lead Technical Proposal Operations and responsible for incorporating strategic and tactical concepts for a full range of large complex proposals through rapid-response task order proposals. This position is located in Virginia Beach, VA.

Requirements

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline or at least 15 years of proven and relative experience and performance.
Must have the ability to read, analyze, and understand Request For Proposals (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), Sources Sought, and other DoD acquisition documents.
Must be considered a Subject Matter Expert in technical proposal management.
Must have experience overseeing high volume proposal operations.
Must be well-versed in the competitive proposal processes (e.g.Shipley).
Must have strong leadership skills.
Must have exceptional people skills to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have superior verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
Must have working knowledge of SharePoint or other platforms for proposal administration.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

Coordinate with the Business Development team for integrating capture strategy goals and objectives into delivering compelling proposals.
Develop and manage a proactive, contemporary, competitive technical proposal development organization. Help institutionalize processes and procedures with a focus on continuous improvement based on industry best practices.
Select, train, and organize a quality team of proposal professionals. Set goals and objectives, monitor performance, provide frequent high-quality feedback, and support growth and development goals for staff.
Work collaboratively with Business Development and Capture Teams to facilitate the development of Capture Team deliverables to include themes and discriminators for use in proposal development.
