About The Position

Fluor is seeking a Proposal Manager to provide a center of excellence for proposal development and production. This role focuses on supporting businesses in winning work by offering coordination, editing, writing, formatting, graphics, desktop publishing, presentations, production, and systems to meet the sales and marketing, functional, and corporate requirements of the Business Lines. This position typically involves regional/local Marketing Services office and/or global functional responsibilities, with direct/indirect reporting relationships with Marketing Services Managers, Specialists, Technicians, and/or Web Designers/Artists.

Requirements

  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and fourteen (14) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eighteen (18) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
  • Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the operations and activities of the Marketing Services organizations within a defined region/office and/or global functional group, consisting of one of the major execution centers as well as offices dependent upon that execution center for the provision of full-service Marketing Services capabilities.
  • Develop and implement the strategic direction of Marketing Services on a regional/office basis.
  • Coordinate resources and oversee associated activities.
  • Responsible for leading the Marketing Services activities regionally/locally into new services and developing staff to provide the highest quality material and managing to the Fluor brand.
  • Develop budget for office and oversee budget adherence.
  • Lead local group, display initiative, direct, and motivate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
