About The Position

Linxon, a joint venture between AtkinsRéalis and Hitachi Energy, is seeking a Proposal Manager for its EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is crucial for the company's growth, focusing on leading the creation of high-quality, competitive proposals for complex power system projects. The Proposal Manager will shape proposal strategy by integrating technical, commercial, and operational inputs to effectively communicate value, mitigate risk, and strengthen Linxon's position in the EPC market. This involves close collaboration with various internal teams, including engineering, procurement, finance, project management, and commercial departments, throughout the entire proposal lifecycle. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and strategic thinking skills to synthesize diverse inputs into a cohesive final product. Additionally, the Proposal Manager will contribute to win strategy discussions, provide market insights, and support pricing and risk assessment processes, directly influencing Linxon's project pipeline and revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in tendering, bid management, or a similar role within the power systems industry.
  • Strong understanding of power system projects, particularly substation design, construction, and EPC environments.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Effective collaboration skills in fast-paced, dynamic environments with technical and commercial teams.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements for power infrastructure projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
