Requirements

  • 3–5 years of progressive marketing experience; Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (AEC) industry is a plus.
  • Proven experience developing proposals for public agencies and private clients; familiarity with NJ and NY agency submissions is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat required.
  • Strong writing, editing, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with technical staff, clients, and external partners.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and website content management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of high-quality proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, and marketing collateral in collaboration with project and business development leaders.
  • Manage and maintain a library of marketing content, including resumes, project descriptions, and case studies, ensuring brand consistency, accuracy, and quality across all deliverables.
  • Serve as a content strategist and writer, producing original content for proposals, executive summaries, brochures, and cover letters tailored to targeted pursuits.
  • Guide and support pursuit teams in developing win strategies and creating graphics or messaging that convey key differentiators.
  • Partner with business development teams to drive client development efforts, assist with market research, and support planning initiatives.
  • Manage internal and external communications, including digital content, website updates, and social media efforts.
  • Provide mentorship to junior marketing staff and help implement best practices in proposal coordination and marketing production.
