About The Position

You will be the Proposal Analyst Asc for the Cost Estimating Team. Our team is responsible for delivering accurate cost projections to support winning proposals and informed decisionâmaking. As the Proposal Analyst you will be responsible for transforming RFP data and engineering drawings into reliable cost estimates that drive competitive bids. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Requirements

Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Operations or Supply Chain Management or related discipline is desired.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
Good communication skills (verbal and written).

Nice To Haves

Experience in Procure to Pay (P2P) Materials Cost Estimating (MCE) system.
Experience in Materials Cost Estimating proposal process and procedures.
Experience with Request for Proposals (RFP), FAR, DOD environment or material estimating.
Familiar with the production process, Materials Requirements Planning (MRP), SAP Procure to Pay (P2P), and Electronic Financial System (EFS).
Ability to function with a variety of inputs.
Ability to analyze an MCE BOM for estimating purposes.
Ability to read MESOW's to determine direct material proposal requirement.

Responsibilities

Estimate labor and material costs for manufacturing proposals using pricing schedules and historical data.
Analyze specifications, sketches, blueprints, and bills of material to determine production requirements.
Collect and validate cost inputs from functional representatives, subcontractors, and vendors.
Create and maintain cost models and historical cost databases.
Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to management, contracts personnel, and customers.
