About The Position

With tens of thousands of homeowners already on our platform, we are expanding into Nevada and seeking an experienced Property Tax Advisor to guide our team through regulatory and operational requirements. This contract-based, hourly consulting position is ideal for someone with deep expertise in Nevada’s property tax protesting system who can serve as a trusted advisor during our early market entry. There is potential for this opportunity to evolve into a mutually beneficial partnership as we expand our property tax offering in Nevada. We proudly partner with leading home financial services companies, including USAA, Lemonade, Compass, Nerdwallet, CreditKarma, Monarch Money, Consumer Reports, Thumbtack, and more.

Requirements

• Have direct experience in the Nevada property tax system—through your own practice, as part of a firm, or within a local government agency.
• Are deeply familiar with county-specific procedures, deadlines, and rules, especially for Nevada’s five largest counties.
• Possess an innovative mindset, ready to find creative solutions while strictly adhering to all relevant guidelines.
• Are available to consult on an as-needed, hourly basis via phone or Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Insight: Clarify state statutes, administrative processes, and compliance obligations for property tax protests.
• County-Specific Knowledge: Advise on the unique procedures and nuances for major Nevada counties.
• Filing Processes: Guide us on when and how to file petitions (TRIM notices, deadlines, evidence requirements), including online versus paper submission protocols.
• Hearing Procedures: Share best practices and insights on the hearing process to ensure effective protest preparation.
