About The Position

This role is for a Property Tax Analyst who will be responsible for ensuring all deadlines, notices, and hearing dates are managed accurately. The analyst will collect and enter data, track protest deadlines and ARB hearing calendars, process notices of value and tax bills, and prepare rendition and ARB packages. Additionally, the analyst will build relationships with assessing and taxing authorities and maintain the accuracy of company systems within the Compliance service line. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 1-3 years of relevant property tax experience required
  • Must reside in the DFW metroplex
  • Ability to work a hybrid model (two days in office, three days remote weekly)

Responsibilities

  • Assists with collection and entry of data and documents associated with the property tax cycle processing
  • Reviews client data files, and sends internal requests to retrieve missing data for return preparation, following up as needed
  • Communicates efficiently and comfortably with assessing/taxing authorities and conducts online research. Tracks internal/external deadlines, responsible for maintaining the protest deadline calendar and ARB hearing calendar to support consultants, processing notice of values, and tax bills for respected designated assignments.
  • Support consultants in ensuring TAG systems have an accurate reflection of scope of work per the client’s location listing.
  • Assists with rendition printing, ARB packages and other deliverables as needed
  • Reviews in-bound mail for critical deadlines, notifying consultants and management as appropriate, and handling any associated tasks in a timely manner
  • Responds to internal and external queries timely
