Requirements

  • Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass an MVR check to be insured for company vehicles.
  • Must have a smartphone and complete daily work tickets via mobile device.
  • Must possess personal hand tools for the job (basic hand tools required).
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English for business purposes.
  • Must have a dependable vehicle with up-to-date insurance, inspection, and registration.
  • Travel required: Driving a vehicle to and from various rental properties daily.
  • Occasional travel to headquarters in Allentown, PA.
  • On-call responsibilities: Rotate weekend on-call responsibilities, expecting to be on-call every 5 weeks.
  • Must be able to pass an MVR check to be insured for use of company vehicles.

Nice To Haves

  • At least three years of related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general repairs such as drywall, painting, and repairing doors, lights, locks, windows, screens, floors, siding, gutters, and drains.
  • Perform maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
  • Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment, appliances, and related systems.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently and prevent deterioration.
  • Follow appropriate procedures for each property.
  • Provide excellent customer service to tenants, fellow workers, and the general public.
  • Ensure all security measures are taken, such as shutting off lights, locking doors, and returning keys.
  • Report maintenance issues, cleaning needs, tenant issues, and safety issues to the support team or Property Management Office.
  • Fix potential safety hazards.
  • Adhere to all company policies.
  • Promptly respond to phone calls, emails, and texts.
  • Complete all work orders via a smartphone, including accounting for inventory and materials.
  • Perform snow removal as needed, which may require overtime and off-hour work.
