The Property Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the property, including ensuring efficient operations, overseeing supplier contracts, maintenance, lease administration, and monthly reporting. This role also focuses on creating a positive experience for residents, associates, and clients, and involves managing day-to-day operations, resident satisfaction, retention, full resident lifecycle activities (e.g., lease administration, rent collection and delinquency management), property P&L, and property marketing. The position requires meeting client expectations, providing excellent customer service, and involves recruiting, interviewing, and hiring associates, as well as providing coaching and development. The Property Manager is also responsible for executing strategic marketing plans, understanding operational guidelines, responding to resident complaints, and serving as a liaison between residents, the corporate office, and common area maintenance. Additionally, the role includes maintaining professional and technical knowledge, organizing emergency plans, and managing safety records, property loss claims, and risk management initiatives.
